Potty Training

Over the last few months, Tal and I have been preparing Savannah for potty training. We've read lots potty books. Savannah kindly informs Mommy and Daddy when she goes pee-pee and poo-poo. :-) She can take off her pants, flush the toilet, and wash her hands.

Two weeks ago, Savannah started potty training at school. Last week, Savannah started wearing underwear at school! So far, she's had 2-3 accidents each day, but she's very interested in using the potty. We'll see what happens!

Dinner Guests

Tal and I are ready for dinner guests! We used some of our tax refund to buy a dining room table with 8 chairs (on sale for $800 off!). We're thrilled that the adults in our immediate family will be able to eat dinner together. In the coming months, we'll be shopping for an area rug and curtains.

Birthday Princess

Birthday Cake

Last Saturday, 15 family and friends helped us celebrate Savannah's second birthday with some pizza and cupcakes!

Doll Baby

Savannah received this babydoll as a second birthday gift. She loves taking off the baby's shoes, clothes, and diaper. :-)

2 Years Old!

 I turned 2 on February 12!

I'm starting to put two words together more often:
"big truck"
"uh-oh mess"
"toot-toot Daddy"
"look Mommy"
"read book"
"Daddy('s) coat"
"sit please"
"Hey Benny"
"night-night Mommy"

I'm adjusting well to my toddler bed.

I sleep through the night several nights each week.

I make this silly face when Mommy asks me to smile:

I weigh 27 lbs.

I wear size 5 diapers.

I wear size 5or 6 shoes.

I'm beginning to outgrow my 2T clothes.

I went pee-pee on the potty for the first time yesterday!

I love when Mommy takes pictures.

I like sweet tea and chocolate covered peanuts--
just like Daddy!

Graduation Day

Today Savannah graduated to the two year-old class at school!

The biggest change? No more sippy cups! Now Savannah drinks from a cup(without a lid)--just like a big girl.

Savannah is thrilled to be moving up to the class in which many of her older friends are. In her new class, Savannah gets to fingerpaint, do water activities, and play in the sandbox.

Sitting Around

Can you tell that Savannah LOVES the personalized reading chair that Grandma Barbara gave her for her second birthday? :-)
