This week our family decorated the Christmas tree
in our living room in silver and shades of blue
to coordinate with our home's color scheme:
The tree was an early Christmas gift to our family:
We'd been searching for over a year for a 9-foot tree
that fit our budget:
Last week we found this one at Home Depot for 20% off
over Thanksgiving weekend:
I bought all of the ornaments after Christmas last year
for 50% off at Wal-Mart and Walgreens:
I got the biggest bang for my buck when I bought the icicles and
glittery ornaments (stars, doves, snowmen, etc.),
which were around $2 for a pack of 10-12 ornaments:
I also filled a $2 bowl with some silver balls
to add some sparkle to our living room:
