Yesterday Savannah and I took a day trip to the
NC Zoo with my friend Emily and her sons Xavier and Felix:
This was our first trip to the zoo, which is a 1.5 hour drive from our house:
The fall weather was beautiful... 
...and we got our exercise as we walked on the paved nature trails to see the animals:

...and we had a great time playing with them, seeing the animals, and enjoying the lovely fall scenery!
