Last week I hung this painting in the upstairs of our house. It's called "Sea Breeze" by Liz Jardine. It was 50% off at World Market and only cost $50...which is a great deal for a large 35 x 35 piece of artwork:
Our new painting adds a burst of color next to our black-and-white gallery wall in our upstairs hallway:
In the collage below, you can see how "Sea Breeze" coordinates nicely with the blues, greens, and yellows in our staircase photo wall and marsh painting. It also helps create a cohesive color scheme by carrying our home's colors from the downstairs to the upstairs of our house!
