Everyday Moments

Life...unedited.
These random iPhone photos are dark, blurry, and untouched,
but they capture everyday moments from April and May that I want to remember forever.

Savannah gave her music teacher at school a gift for Teacher Appreciation Week,
and Mr. Sinclair sent Savannah this sweet thank you note in the mail:

On April 27, Tal chaperoned Savannah's 1st grade field trip to the NC Zoo:

Here's a picture of me and my girls on Mother's Day after eating lunch at the
Crab Shack in Salter Path with Tal's family:

On our drive home from Salter Path, Savannah put her legs and feet through the sleeves of her pink jacket. Those are Savannah's feet on the chairs!

After we got home from Salter Path on Mother's Day, Tal and I took the girls to the playground to play. Hadley loved drinking her milk from this cool cup that Grandma Barbara gave her.

At the playground, Savannah and Hadley played in the sand pit:

On May 9, Savannah participated in the one-legged race during her school's Field Day:

Riding on Daddy's shoulders:

Hadley is a climber!
She climbed into the bathtub and up into the bathroom sink:

Here is Hadley feeding herself some cereal...and making a mess:

Savannah wore her monogrammed headband and shirt from Grandma Barbara:

Last night our family went to Falcon Fest, our school's festival:

At Falcon Fest, Savannah got her face painted and her hair
painted red, white, and blue (our school colors):

Hadley took a nap on me this afternoon:

Tal and I got this letter from Savannah in the mail today. In school, she wrote this letter and tried to persuade us to get her a pet gold fish. Savannah's teacher mailed the letter to us:

Tal and I are planning to replace the flooring in 4 rooms upstairs (bonus room, Savannah's bedroom, Hadley's bedroom, and guest bedroom). Over the last few weeks, Tal and I have been comparing carpet and hardwood prices for 1,000 square feet. The carpet below is $3.51 a square foot for demo, carpet, and installation. To get the same hardwoods that we have throughout the rest of our house would cost $3.59 a square foot, but Tal would have to install it. Do you think we chose carpet or hardwood?
