Hadley's Big Girl Bed

A couple weeks ago, Hadley started climbing out of her crib at night. Tal converted her crib to a toddler bed, but Hadley prefers sleeping in her big girl bed (with a step stool next to the bed).

Last weekend, Tal took apart Hadley's crib, and we gave it to Hadley's former babysitter, who is expecting baby in December. Tal and I aren't planning to have anymore children, but giving away the crib (that Grandma Barbara gave us before Savannah was born over 7 years ago) made our decision more real and final.

Hadley slept in her crib less than 20 months, which makes me thankful that Tal and I didn't spend a lot of money on her crib or bedding. (We reused Savannah's crib and spent less than $50 on new bedding for Hadley.) Also, I'm thankful that Hadley already has a fully-decorated big girl bed and bedroom that will grow with her for the next 5-10 years!
