Everyday Moments

Life...unedited.
These random iPhone photos are dark, blurry, and untouched,
but they capture everyday moments from the last couple weeks.

Earlier this week, Tal and I started our half bath makeover. I painted the room Palladian Blue by Benjamin Moore:

I also spray painted our quatrefoil mirror navy blue, so it coordinates with the Sydney artwork that we're going to hang above the toilet. While our family was at Home Depot on Friday night, we bought the bathroom faucet, toilet paper holder, and towel ring:

Savannah got a 100 on her last spelling test of the school year!

While Hadley was at her babysitter's house, she decorated a crown and wore leis to celebrate and say goodbye to her two friends, Landon and Grady, who are going to Kindergarten:
On Friday night, our family ate dinner outside at an Italian restaurant downtown. The calzones and vodka penne were delicious!

For dessert, our family shared a cannoli:

At the end of May, Tal and I improved our curb appeal by trimming our bushes and spreading mulch, as well planting some flowers and hanging a wreath on our front door. Our flowers have grown a lot in the last month, and this is how our house looks today:

This afternoon Savannah, Hadley, and I went to a 4th of July pool party, which was held at our friends' (Steve, Tammy, and Caleb) neighborhood pool:

We had a wonderful time swimming in the pool and eating hot dogs for lunch. We also enjoyed eating free sno-cones from the sno-cone truck:
