Kids Workshop (Gingerbread Houses)

Going to the Home Depot Kids Workshops is one of our family's favorite (and free!) activities. In 2017, Savannah and Hadley participated in 7 out of 12 Kids Workshops:

This morning the girls made gingerbread houses, which was the most complicated project they've done this year.  Savannah and Hadley enjoyed nailing the pieces together, painting their houses, and adding stickers.

Also, today was the first time Savannah took a leadership role at a Kids Workshop. She read the directions herself and put together her house with minimal assistance (although I might've yelped when Savannah hit my thumb with a hammer...haha!) Tal and I were so proud of Savannah for reading, understanding, and applying her knowledge!

While Tal was building her gingerbread house, Hadley entertained herself by putting stickers on her plate:

Hadley's favorite part is painting!
